The Hacker Hotel Vision

Hacker Hotel is a curated space for outliers, creatives, and the curious to co-live, learn, and grow. We’re pushing the boundaries of decentralized community-building, using tech to foster real-world connections.

The first Hacker Hotel experience is a month long stay during and after DevCon Week, November 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.

This month-long experiment is designed to immerse our guests in an environment that fosters both professional development and cultural enrichment. During the month of November, Hacker Hotel will:

• Provide a co-living experience in authentic Thai villas, located in close proximity to the DevCon venue
• Carefully vet and match guests based on shared values and interests, ensuring that cohabitants can maximize their networking and collaborative potential
• Host curated activities designed to build meaningful connections, prioritizing genuine interaction over traditional corporate networking
• Introduce guests to the local culture through immersive experiences, including Buddhist practices and Thai traditions

Hacker Havens (The Stays) are carefully arranged stays around the main DevCon conference.

Our mission is to enable more Ethereum community members to get the opportunity to experience DevCon and the beauty Bangkok and Thailand have to show. At the same time, support the local market that enabled DevCon to facilitate itself this year in Bangkok.

That’s why we’ve worked on acquiring directly local-owned, boutique Thai villas, reducing middleman costs and making sure all stays have the necessary amenities for creating the environment where people can feel motivated, productive and establish connections.
