Guests can expect a well-rounded experience that combines professional growth, cultural immersion, and personal well-being. Activities will range from collaborative workshops and discussions to wellness practices like mindfulness and yoga. Additionally, you'll have opportunities to explore Thai and Buddhist culture, all while living in proximity to the DevCon venue.

5. What is the cost?

There will be a cost associated with staying at Hacker Hotel, which will cover accommodations, some meals, and activities. The pricing is mostly dependent on the cost of stay and we’re keeping it flexible to accommodate a wide range of budgets and enable as many goers to experience it. More details will be available soon, and we aim to keep the experience affordable, pretty much the same (or even cheaper) then the cost of stay in the area. The cost also includes access to curated events, cultural experiences, and logistical support during your stay. Additionally, we are exploring sponsorship opportunities to subsidize or cover completely the stay for some guests, depending on availability.

We vet and match guests based on their shared values and interests. Our goal is to create an environment where guests can form meaningful connections, collaborate on projects, and grow together. The application process helps ensure that everyone in the space aligns with the community's goals and ethos.

Yes! One of the benefits of staying at Hacker Hotel is its close proximity to the DevCon venue. We’ll provide logistical support to ensure that you get the most out of your DevCon experience, whether it’s connecting with fellow attendees or navigating the event itself.

8. Is this a one-time experience, or will there be future Hacker Hotels?

The Bangkok experience is just the beginning - Chapter 1. We plan to host future Hacker Hotel experiences in other locations, with each chapter offering unique opportunities for community-building and cultural immersion.
